About
I was born in Omaha, Nebraska, and got a B.A. in Philosophy and History from the University of Nebraska.
Right now, I’m a second-year PhD student in the Philosophy Department at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. I’m interested in language and epistemology — somewhat more in the former than the latter. Specifically, my interests include formal and informal semantics, formal and informal pragmatics, attitude-ascriptions (really ascriptions of all kinds), intensionality, linguistics generally, investigating the commitments of ordinary language, epistemic foundations, and many other things.
I like Morrissey, basketball, and cats.
